Maybe you're worried about weight loss, PCOS symptoms, digestive issues, or heart health. Or perhaps you want to transition to a plant-based diet, but you're concerned about meeting all your nutrient needs.

Whatever the case, I'm here to guide you toward your goals in a more approachable way.


Hi, I'm Lauren!

When I went plant-based and focused on understanding  my body better, my well-being transformed. 

What started as an environmental and animal rights-based choice expanded into a health-driven one
too. My energy levels, cholesterol, and mood all improved. I also noticed a significant decrease in abdominal pain and bloating. It feels good to live in alignment with my ethical values.

  • 1200+ supervised practice hours mostly completed at at Goshen Hospital, including a rotation with the Dean Ornish UnDo It Program for reversing heart disease

  • Experience as a Clinical Dietitian at Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital

Since then, I’ve helped hundreds of patients live healthier lives through the power of nutrition.

Inspired by what I’d learned through my personal experience, I wanted to take my knowledge further. I was determined to help others experience the health-changing potential of food. So I switched my major from art to nutrition and dietetics and haven’t looked back.

Omnivores and plant-based are all welcome without judgment. While I specialize in plant-based diets, you don't have to be vegan or vegetarian to work with me. I also celebrate and welcome clients from all walks of life regardless of race, ethnicity, religious beliefs, gender identity, or sexual orientation.

Inclusive & Judgement-Free

You deserve to have a joyful relationship with food. Because of this, I don’t rely on the scale or calorie counting as the main measures of success. We may track them, but we'll mostly track your progress by focusing on how you feel day to day, your symptoms, lab work, and habits.

Food & Body Positive

Restriction usually just causes more issues. So, rather than focusing on what to remove from your diet, we'll focus more on what to add in. This creates a natural balance that supports your health.

Abundance Orientated

The truth is, the answer to most nutrition questions is “It depends.” That’s why I consider your unique lifestyle, health history, and goals to create your tailored plan. I address the deeper why behind your concerns instead of only treating symptoms. 

Root Cause, Individualized Approach

You won’t find fad diets and quick fixes here. Everything I recommend is based on the most current nutrition science. I don't want you to invest unless I truly believe I can help you.
